RARE BIRDS and ARCHANGELS form a meditation on time and transformation through painted and constructed assemblages. One re-imagines the evolutionary web of vertebrate life through painted hybrids, while the other examines human mortality through the language of time. Both explore how living and mechanical forms are shaped by adaptation, memory, and rhythm.
In these assemblages, the boundaries between nature and invention,
death and renewal, dissolve.
